Artists
City artsquad is made up of artists from a range of disciplines and backgrounds. This has included performance art, music, ceramics, textiles and visual arts such as photography, painting, fine print and film making. Artists engage with a variety of people of all ages and share a range of skills and techniques that contribute towards an appreciation of arts in the community.
Through workshops the artists share advice and practical art techniques with other participants on the scheme that provides additional skills and abilities that they can then use in future projects. The scheme also offers artists on-going support in the development of their artistic goals by providing them with access to a workspace, equipment and opportunities for further training.
